Six international awards for SPH Magazines' Custom Publishing unit

Five custom titles under SPH Magazines were recently acknowledged for their quality publishing standards by two well-respected US-based organisations.

Up against more than 1,200 entries from around the world covering 75 categories, SilverKris, the inflight travel magazine of Singapore Airlines, was named 'Best Hospitality/Travel Publication' at the prestigious Content Marketing Awards 2015.

Presented annually by US-based Content Marketing Institute, the Content Marketing Awards is the largest international content marketing awards programme and recognises the best content marketing projects, agencies and marketers in the industry, whether in print or electronic form.

Other titles custom published by SPH Magazines were named finalists in various categories: The Johnnie Walker House Edit Vol 2, published for Diageo, for Best Overall Design (Print); Singapore Health Nov/Dec 2014, published for the SingHealth Group, clinched a nod for Best Healthcare/Medical Publication. A quarterly magazine published for the British Council in Singapore, Cohort was also acknowledged as Best New Publication (Print).

The Content Marketing Awards arrived hot on the heels of two Tabbie Awards clinched by Singapore Nautilus, also produced by the Custom Publishing unit for the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).

Under the Front Cover, Illustration category, Issue 26 of Singapore Nautilus clinched a Gold Tabbie, winning praise from the panel for an 'interesting and well-done layout with great colour choices'. In another category, Best Single Issue: Top 25 Issues, Singapore Nautilus Issue 28 garnered sixth placing.

The Tabbies are organised annually by US-based TABPI (Trade Association Business Publications International), which this year saw more than 400 competing entries from around the world.
