5 Korean fashion labels not to miss at Blueprint Emporium 2014

We all know how much impact K-Pop and K-Drama is having on Singapore's pop culture at the moment, not to mention the power of K-Beauty. Now, as part of the annual Blueprint trade show, you'll also be able to get your hands on some fabulous, emerging K-Fashion labels during the Blueprint Emporium on May 17 and 18, 2014.

Four ready-to-wear brands - One Choi, Baron Oh, Zê Quun and J Koo - plus shoe and accessories brand Dusty Mauve, will be available to shop right here in Singapore.


Womenswear brand One Choi is a consciously simple label with the focus on using knitwear to create almost minimal designs that are comfortable and quite flattering garments.

One Choi's pieces have been worn by a number of Korean celebrities and even Yoon-ok Kim, Korea's first lady in 2011, has been photographed in the brand. For more information about One Choi, go to www.onechoi.com.


Both international and Korean celebs have shown their love for Baron Oh's delicate, feminine dresses; stars like Laura Whitmore, Carmen Electra, Sophia Bush, Malika Sherawat and Dannii Minogue have been spot in the brand.

Known for its use of silk and cashmere, Baron Oh mixes traditional Oriental art with structured, tailoring to create great ready-to-wear womenswear. For more information, go to www.baronoh.com.


Shoe and accessory brand Dusty Mauve is known for its fashion-forward designs. Named after designer Heui-Ju Jang's love for the colour mauve, the brand is loved by Korean career women for its comfortable, but on-trend shoes in particular.

Created by designers Jinwoo-Choi and Yeonjoo-Koo, J Koo blends minimalism with luxury to create menswear and womenswear lines that are perfectly on-trend for the current mix of streetwear and sportswear but with a nice focus neat tailoring. For more information, go to www.studiojkoo.com.


Mixing elegant tailoring with minimal colour palettes, the designs of menswear and womenswear label Zê Quun are the perfect mix of classic style and on-trend modernism, something that K-Fashion is known for.
