Jaguar unveils latest luxury model in style

SINGAPORE - British luxury manufacturer Jaguar unveiled its latest model launch with an artistic evening of music and passion at the Red Dot Museum in Tanjong Pagar.

Personalities such as violinist Min Lee and film-maker Eric Khoo attended the exclusive VIP event launch in May, together with other distinguished guests and regional media.

Before the unveiling of the latest model, Jaguar introduced its new brand vision by inviting its guests to take a nostalgic walk through the "Passion Exhibition".

The exhibition featured personal items curated by Jaguar brand friends - award-winning chef Andre Chiang, Min Lee and Eric Khoo. The items gave the guests an insight on the source of their motivation and what makes them feel most alive.

The three personalities also showed how they each embody Jaguar's main key philosophies of Innovation, Performance and Design.

To mark the occasion, top local violinist Min Lee performed a special rendition of The Beatles and Coldplay as the F-TYPE Coupé was presented to the audience.

Guests were then invited to get up-close with two F-TYPE Coupé cars on display.

In his opening speech, Mr Russell Anderson, managing director of Asia Pacific Importers, shared with the audience how the Jaguar Land Rover's sales hit an all-time global high of just over 434,000 vehicles.

In Singapore, Mr Anderson said Jaguar was ranked 9th in overall sales volume for the entire market in 2013. This was the first time it ever achieved such high sales.
