The American jewellery brand is showcasing a travelling collection of jewellery with coloured gems until Oct 28. In addition to finding buyers for the pieces, the jewellery collection aims to showcase the brand's history with coloured gems.
Some of these include kunzite, a lilac pink stone which the brand introduced in 1902. It was named after Tiffany gemologist, Dr George Frederick Kunz.
Tanzanite, which is a transparent blue stone with violet undertones, and tsavorite, a rare type of green garnet, also made their jewellery debuts at Tiffany's in 1968 and 1974, respectively.
Shoppers can check out the 26 pieces, mostly rings, brooches and earrings with bright jewels, at the flagship store at 01-05 Takashimaya Shopping Centre.
Prices for the collection, which also features morganites, amethysts, aquamarines, emeralds, grossularites, sapphires, spessartites, spinels and tourmalines,start at $9,050 for a pink tourmaline diamond and platinum ring.
