SINGAPORE -Aviation buffs will have to pay more to experience the heart-stopping aerobatic displays of the Republic of Singapore Air Force's Black Knights at next year's airshow.
Ticket prices for the public days at Singapore Airshow 2014 on Feb 15 and 16 are going up.
Sales start today at $22 for an adult ticket, up from $20 before. Children between the ages of three and 12 will pay $9, or $1 more.
Tickets are available from Sistic, which also charges a booking fee of $3 for each adult ticket and $1 for each child.
The ticket covers a two-way shuttle between Singapore Expo and the event venue, the Changi Exhibition Centre near the airport, as well as entry to the air display segments and exhibitions.
Prices have not been adjusted since 2008 when Experia Events started organising the biennial event, managing director Jimmy Lau told The Straits Times on Thursday.
Since then, operational costs have increased and enhancements made to improve visitor experience, he said.
For instance, buses will run more frequently, to shorten waiting times.
