Disruption of AirAsia flights due to Typhoon Usagi

PETALING JAYA - Several AirAsia flights to Southern China Monday have been cancelled due to Typhoon Usagi.

In a statement, AirAsia said some domestic flights are also affected due to delays and cancellations caused by Typhoon.

It said that guests affected by the cancellations of these flights will be offered options to move to the next available flight. Each affected guest will be notified via their registered member email account on the AirAsia website, as well as an SMS notification of the cancellations.

It is also advised for guests to log on to www.airasia.com to check their flight schedules before traveling to the airport for the flights that are affected.

AirAsia also urged all it's guests to keep their email addresses and mobile numbers with their country code prefix updated in their AirAsia member profiles to ensure that they could make contact to provide notification and assistance.

Guests can also get in touch with AirAsia's Customer Care Team via social media by simply tweeting to twitter.com/AskAirAsia for further enquiries about these flight cancellations.

AirAsia said they would continue to monitor the weather conditions and would issue further updates should there be any further changes to their flight schedule.
