Faster check-in for AirAsia

MALAYSIA - AirAsia has launched Malaysia's first baggage self-tagging service.

Its latest innovation is set to complement other advances that the airline already has in place, providing its guests with a seamless AirAsia experience.

The baggage self-tagging service proved successful during a September trial, and results have shown it has improved guests' airport experience tremendously by reducing the time spent queuing at the baggage drop counter.

Tony Fernandes, Air Asia Group CEO said in a press conference, "LCCT is the first, but over the next few months, we will be rolling it out to every single airport. And we hope this will make it much easier."

Meanwhile, Tan Sri Tony Fernandes also launched Life in the Skies, a book on flying experiences by AirAsia captain, Lim Khoy Hing.
