Both local and foreign visitors will have complimentary access to two photography exhibitions, Annie Leibovitz A Photographer's Life 1990 - 2005 and Flux Realities: A Showcase of Chinese Contemporary Photography, which will be ending on Oct 19 and Nov 2 respectively.
Free public programmes such as guided tours at the two exhibitions will also be provided by the museum.
Fans of Chinese contemporary art can get up-close and personal with artist Wang Ningde, who will be discussing his works featured in Flux Realities.
The talk will be conducted in Mandarin and held on Oct 6 at 11am. Translation will be provided for non-Mandarin speakers.
Family-friendly activities will also be available, and parents can create photograms in a darkroom setting with their kids. Together, they can develop them using traditional print photography methods.
Photography enthusiasts can deepen their skills at the Picture Perfect! workshop and explore key techniques to get that perfect picture. Participants can try out the techniques and produce a print-out which they can take home.
