Jet Airways, India's international airline, and national carrier Garuda Indonesia concluded a codeshare partnership on Monday.
The two airlines also simultaneously launched a reciprocal frequent flyer programme, to offer passengers of both airlines a variety of options and seamless access when travelling throughout the combined networks.
Under the codeshare arrangement, Jet Airways will place its marketing code on Garuda Indonesia's flights between Singapore and Jakarta.
Likewise, Garuda will place its marketing code on Jet Airways' operations between Singapore and Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai.
With the full fledged frequent flyer partnership between Jet Airways' JetPrivilege and Garuda Indonesia's Frequent Flyer program, members will now benefit from frequent flyer mileage accrual and redemption opportunities on not only the codeshare routes, but the entire network of Garuda Indonesia across Indonesia, and on Jet Airways' extensive pan-India domestic and international networks.
