Madame Tussauds Singapore to open in Sentosa next year

FAMED wax museum Madame Tussauds will be opening here at Imbiah Lookout in Sentosa in the second half of next year, according to attractions operator Merlin Entertainments.

Known for showcasing lifelike wax figures of global personalities such as sports star David Beckham and Hong Kong celebrity Andy Lau, the celebrity wax attraction will be housed in the Images of Singapore building. Images of Singapore is a multimedia and theatre display of Singapore's culture and history.

The Madame Tussauds museum here will be the only attraction outside of London to feature a ride. Admission will cost approximately $30 for both Madame Tussauds and Images of Singapore combined.

Madame Tussauds Singapore joins five other museums which have opened in Asia, such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Bangkok and Wuhan.
