Best Western International (BWI) has penned a contract with Maple Leaf Hotel & Resorts for a hotel located adjacent to Bangladesh's main international air gateway, Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The 56-room hotel is set to open in the second quarter of next year.
Besides international amenities such as flat-screen TVs with satellite channels and complimentary Wi-Fi, the hotel will also feature an all-day restaurant serving local and international dishes, a bar, fitness centre, sauna, steam room and spa.
BWI expects to expand further in Bangladesh, with plans for at least three hotels in the coastal town of Cox's Bazar.
