With the new Terminal 4 (T4) up and running at the JFK airport in New York, travellers will find the experience from check-in to boarding gate, arrivals to baggage claim faster, easier and much more enjoyable.

In addition to dedicated "curb-side" check-in desks which travellers can take advantage of even before entering the terminal building upon arrival, there is also a spacious check-in area in the main terminal with both staffed and self-serve kiosks and a speedy baggage check-in and drop area to reduce waiting times.

The number of security checkpoints in T4 has been increased to enable customers to pass through check-in to departures as quickly as possible.

Once through security, Delta passengers can relax at the new Delta departure lounge at T4. All waiting areas have been fitted with power and USB points to charge mobile devices, enabling travellers to plug in and stay connected.

They will also have access to some of the best restaurants and designer stores that New York has to offer without having to leave the terminal.

SkyMiles Diamond, Platinum and Gold Medallion members can enjoy VIP privacy in the Sky Priority check-in lounge before passing through security for departure. It is also where the new 24,000 sq ft Delta Sky Club is located. It features an additional 2,000 sq ft open-air SkyDeck (below), where one can sip a cocktail and check out the Manhattan skyline.
