Penguin strolls down Orchard Rd to promote Sentosa's new 4D ride

SINGAPORE - On Thursday, Sentosa 4D AdventureLand launched 'Happy Feet Mumble's Wild Ride!' - which features animated dancing penguins and even the chilly atmosphere of Antarctica.

The four-dimensional theatre brought the 3D motion-simulated show to life with 4D multi-sensory effects.

Guests experienced shakes, bumps, 3D moving technology and even chilling air blasters.

In the interactive zone, children were attracted to the images of frozen cliffs and Emperor penguins from the movie, and could also immerse themselves in activities like connect-the-dots, mazes and crossword puzzles.

Sentosa 4D AdventureLand also showcased other experiences - 'Journey 2: The Mysterious Island'; virtual 4D roller coaster 'Extreme Log Ride' and interactive 4D shoot-out game, 'Desperados'.

Tickets to Sentosa 4D AdventureLand are $38.90 for adults, $26.90 for children aged three to 12 years old, and admission is free for those below three years old.

The 10-minute-long ride features a race down the frozen cliffs of Antarctica with Mumble and his penguin friends, but there are automatic pocket doors and safety monitored seat belts to keep everyone safe.
