Port Dickson's The Hibiscus is designed for privacy

It promises to be iconic and going by the description, The Hibiscus - which is undergoing construction in Port Dickson - will live up to that expectation. A project development by Kuala lumpur Metro Group and managed by Lexis Hotels & Resorts, the RM200 million venture is a dream resort that offers unparalleled luxury and opulence. It is expected to be completed by November 2014.

Lexis Hotel Group vice-president (operations) Tiu Kwe Yee, vice-president (finance) Jasbir Singh and vice-president (sales and marketing) Steve Woon are all excited as they explain what The Hibiscus is all about.

Lexis Hotels & Resorts currently manages Lexis and Grand Lexis Port Dickson.

"It will have a tower block with 641 units. Each unit will be equipped with a private swimming pool, sauna and steam room," says Tiu. The Grand Lexis Hotel Port Dickson patrons will verify that it holds the record as the resort with the most number of swimming pools in the country.

When The Hibiscus is completed, that record is going to be even more difficult to beat. However, the three vice-presidents are not as concerned with the record as they are with what it will offer.

The Hibiscus is located in the beautiful beachfront of Pasir Panjang. Coral reefs in the area will be part of the attraction.

Woon says The Hibiscus will be in a choice location.

"Like the Lexis Hotel and Grand Lexis Hotel, The Hibiscus is not far from Kuala Lumpur, Malacca and KLIA. People go to Port Dickson because it is so near Kuala Lumpur and Malacca. It is also well-connected to various expressways linking Kuala Lumpur and Port Dickson," he says.
