SINGAPORE - From sword swallowing acts to comical jugglers, Sentosa visitors were treated today to a variety of acts from 19 local and international buskers.
Today marked the start of the nine-day Sentosa Buskers Festival, which stretches from Beach Plaza, Sentosa to Palawan Beach.
The festival is into its fifth year, and admission to the event is free, although island admisson and carpark charges apply.
From 4.30pm each day, visitors can catch the performances till Sept 14. Key acts include violin players, fire performances, bike stunts, living statues, puppetry and magic shows, and various circus acts.
There is also an artist market where the public can tip the artists for their works such as digital caricatures, handmade accessories and figurines made of dough.
Members of the public can also try their hand at learning circus tricks at the "Let Me Try" interactive zones.
