SIA upgrades daily services to Christchurch

Singapore Airlines (SIA) will operate a daily service from Singapore to Christchurch via a refitted 777-200ER from February next year. The upgraded seats and cabin interiors will provide customers with additional space and comfort as well as consistency across the airline's long haul fleet.

In Business Class, the upholstered leather seat reclines up to 125 degrees and unfolds into a full-flat bed. The configuration of seats also offers all customers direct access to the aisle. In addition, the KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system features a 15.4-inch LCD monitor and an extensive selection of audio and video programmes.

In Economy Class, personal LCD monitors will be upgraded from 6.5 to nine inches. Seat covers, designed by Givenchy, will also feature richer and softer fabrics.
