SIA waives fees for customers cancelling trips to Bangkok

SINGAPORE - Singapore Airlines said that its flights to and from Bangkok are still operating as scheduled on Friday, but has said that it will waive administrative fees and penalties for refunds, re-booking, or re-routing for customers holding tickets issued on or before May 19.

The waiver is applicable for tickets for travel to and from Bangkok on or before May 31, and is also applicable to redemption tickets, it said on its website.

It has advised customers flying from Bangkok to make their ways to the airport early, as "traffic jams may be expected in the city due to road closures or additional security checks".

It is advising customers to head to the airport at least four hours before their flight's departure.
