Singaporeans are not known to be vocal in general, but they have been recognised as the travellers with the "most to say" on travel site TripAdvisor.
While the country which contributed the most number of reviews is the United States, Singapore reviews take the crown for being the longest at 731 characters, on average, TripAdvisor said in a statement.
Singapore was also ranked second in the category for the most number of photos posted, after Japan.
One person who has contributed more than his fair share of reviews is Mr Wong Ming Hao, who has written more than 200 reviews on the site this year. His reviews since 2007 range over 152 cities in 28 countries, according to statistics on the site.
The third-year honours student at NUS Business School has been working in Beijing for the past six months, which he said has given him ample time to travel.
"I believe travelling should be done when you're young - that way you can maximise the benefits from your worldly exposure, and see opportunities before other people do. You live a fuller life," Mr Wong said.
The annual awards aim to recognise the "shining stars" in the travel community, said Ms Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor.
