Tigerair flies to Ningbo
The annual fee for the card is $180, although Standard Chartered and Tigerair are now offering a two-year waiver for the principal card.

Budget carrier Tigerair will launch three flights every fortnight to Ningbo in China, starting on Dec 26. The seaport city will be the airline's eighth destination in China, and Tigerair is the only airline so far to fly directly there from Singapore.

The airline is offering special fares to celebrate the new route - a one-way trip will cost $99, while a return journey will cost $198. Both fares are inclusive of taxes.

The promotional fares are available for booking until Dec 15, and are valid for travel between Dec 26 and Jan 18.
