SINGAPORE - All eyes will be focused on the playing fields as the teams battle it out for the top accolade at the World Cup 2014 in Rio De Janeiro.

But away from the limelight, the teams will be resting in utmost luxury at the Brazilian host city's best hotels, said travel site Trivago.

The popular English squad is calling the Royal Tulip their home during the games. The hotel is a stylish beach-front accommodation located at the Sao Conrado beach.

The hotel can host up to 3,000 people in 418 decadent apartments with its own sea or mountain views. Fans staying at the hotel might bump into their favourite football star and wish them luck personally if they can get past security.

Host team Brazil is staying at their usual private CBF Training Centre in Granja Comary, said Trivago. Set at the edge of Serra dos Orgaos National Park, the centre is an idyllic retreat with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Brazilian fans can stay at the nearby Atelier Molinaro Boutique Hotel, a 21-room luxury accommodation which has a swimming pool filled with natural mineral water, a jacuzzi and sauna, as well as volleyball and football pitches.
