Trinity traveller lives her dream

KUALA LUMPUR - There are only a few people in the world who can say they are living a dream and Perucha Hutagaol is one of them. The 30-something Indonesian, who goes by the pen name "Trinity", has just spent the last six months travelling in Latin America. "I have loved travelling and seeing new places since young. If I did well in school the reward will be a trip. "Besides, I don't like routine work and I get bored easily," said Hutagoal.

The author of several travelling books, the most popular and well-known entitled The Naked Traveler, has travelled mostly alone to 60 coun tries and and 30 provinces in Indonesia. Written in simple Bahasa Indone sia, the book is laid-back, and is full of hon est, interesting anecdotes and hilar ious commentaries of her travels.

Hutagaol said she named her book and blog which goes by the same moniker as the Naked Traveler be cause she wanted wants to write about the real nitty gritty part of travelling. "Most travel writers will tell you only the about the nice things. Rarely would a traveller write about unfriendly locals peo ple or transportation problems. "For me, I feel that its it is essential to write about both the good and the bad."

In her book, she describes trav elling cheap, mostly staying in bud get hotels and sharing accommoda tion with total strangers. She can be found on her Facebook page "Trinity Traveller".
