Volunteers or “garden angels”, including these children, are helping with the planting of tulips at the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay on 8 April 2014, in preparation for Tulipmania on 14 April.

SINGAPORE - Singapore’s largest tulip display returns to the Flower Dome at Gardens By The Bay on April 14.

Tulipmania will feature some 50,000 bulbs of different varieties and colours flown in from the Netherlands.

Volunteers or “garden angels”, including these children, yesterday helped to plant some of the bulbs.

Dutch airline KLM also flew in Miffy – the famous white female rabbit “born” in the Netherlands – for a guest appearance. Miffy will pose for photographs with visitors.

Tulipmania runs till May 4.
