VietJet launches new route from Singapore to HCM city

SINGAPORE - Vietnamese carrier VietJet will be introducing a new flight route from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City from May 23, 2014.

This new service will be operating daily with seven flights per week.

The scheduled flights will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 8.50am and arrive in Singapore at 11.40am. From Singapore, the flight will depart at 12.40pm and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 1.30pm.

With this new route, VietJet will be providing 2,520 seats per week to passengers travelling between the two cities.

On the journey, passengers can enjoy meals prepared by VietJet's five-star standard chefs or order from their menu of ready-to-eat snacks and beverages.

Desmond Lin, Business Development Manager at VietJet, said that airlines is positive that Singaporeans will enjoy discovering the Ho Chi Minh, calling it an "exciting city" with amazing food, great markets and incredible nightlife.

VietJet currently operates on 23 domestic and international routes.
