IIT students design Mumbai railway map

Two Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay students have designed a commuter-friendly railway map for Mumbai's local train network.

The map by students Jaikishan Patel and Snehal Patil is colour-coded and has routes that link Western, Central, Harbour and Trans Harbour train stations.

The map can also be used by people who are colour blind who can differentiate routes by tone and thickness of rail lines.
