Lambo crashes into tree near National Library

A Lamborghini crashed into a tree in the early hours yesterday near the National Library on Victoria Street, destroying the entire front of the luxury sports car.

Police said they got a call about the incident around 12.30am.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said a woman in her 30s and a man in his 40s were in the car.

SCDF sent an ambulance to the scene but the pair declined to be taken to hospital in it.
