Lorry flips at junction

A man suffered minor injuries when the lorry he was driving flipped onto its side at the junction of Tai Seng Avenue and Tai Seng Drive Friday.

Mr Andrew Tan, 36, a service engineer, was on his way to meet a client when he saw the lorry at 12.25pm.

"The lorry blocked the two-lane road. Only one lane was passable to traffic," he said.

"The traffic police could allow only a few vehicles from either side to pass through at any one time."

DELIVERY

The lorry was delivering electronic components when the accident happened around noon.

A Just R Transport Enterprise spokesman said the driver had minor bruises and scratches and was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for observation.

The police said it was unclear how the accident occurred and they are investigating.
