SCDF activated to rescue motorcyclist pinned underneath tipper truck

A motorcyclist was pinned under a tipper truck after an accident occured near the junction of Yishun Ave 1 and Ave 2 on Tuesday morning. Officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) had to jack up the truck to remove the motorcyclist, Mr Joseph Steven, 47, told The Straits Times.

Biker pinned underneath lorry in Yishun accident

A biker was pinned underneath a lorry after an accident in Yishun this morning.

Stomp contributor Steven, who sent in photos of the accident, said that the biker was later conveyed to hospital in stable condition.

Said Steven: "Today (Sep 3) at 9.28am, I was passing by Yishun ave 1 at the junction of Yishun Ave 2 when I spotted this traffic incident involving a motorcycle and a heavy vehicle.

"The motorcyclist was found underneath the vehicle.

"He was conveyed by ambulance in stable condition."
