Shangri-La Hotel fosters family traditions and togetherness with a series of gingerbread house weekend workshops next month, conducted by Area executive pastry chef Herve Potus. Parents and their children can enjoy the German-American tradition of decorating freshly baked gingerbread houses with frosting, candies and chocolates.
Each child will receive an exclusive apron and hat in festive colours and their decorated gingerbread house to take home. Free-flowing festive snacks such as Frosted Berry Tartlets, Chocolate Profiteroles, Rainbow Donuts, Smiley Cupcakes, Christmas Panettone and Cookies will further sweeten the afternoon.
