Japanese bakery Asanoya will open its doors on Saturday at Wilby Central (15, Queen Street).
Its signature items are the Karuizawa raisin and the fruit rye (with orange peel, rum-infused raisins, walnuts and almonds mixed into the dough).
But the best is the sweet and moist maple walnut bread ($3.20).
Asanoya also serves sandwiches, salads, wine and Japanese beer.
Imagine a lazy afternoon nibbling on delicious bread.
