At Window on the Park Restaurant, celebrate Christmas with family dishes from Australia's "Godfather of Gastronomy" Tony Bilson.
Two special items will appear on selected buffet spreads next month (lunch from $64 nett a person, dinner from $77.30 nett a person) and are also available for takeaway: Tony Bilson's Roast Turkey (takeaway from Mon - Dec 30, $128 nett; at buffet lunch and dinner on Dec 24 and 25) stuffed with foie gras, fresh sourdough breadcrumbs, mixed mushrooms and fresh herbs, served with seasonal vegetables, baby potatoes and natural turkey brown sauce; and Anne Girling's Christmas Cake (takeaway from Mon - Dec 30, $40 nett and $60 nett with cognac; at buffet lunch and dinner from Dec 15 - 30), based on the recipe of Tony Bilson's mother-in-law. Three days' advance notice is required for takeaway orders.
At Tandoor, takeaway Christmas specialities (Mon - Dec 30) include Tandoori Turkey ($108++), a spice-marinated whole turkey, tandoor-cooked and served with rich potato and dried fruit stuffing, gourmet vegetables and cranberry chilli sauce; and Turkey Pankhi ($38++) and Turkey Raan ($38++), which each serves two persons and can be ordered a la carte for dine-in as well as for takeaway.
Festive lunch buffets (Dec 25 and 28, $48++ a person) include the above dishes plus items such as Roast Tomato and Bell Pepper Soup with Cream Cheese.
