These days, one doesn't even need to leave the comfort of home to indulge in a spot of retail therapy.
One of the latest shopping solutions to hit our shores is Teleshopping Singapore, a platform which allows you to shop either online or via phone for added convenience.
Established earlier this year, Teleshopping is currently dedicated exclusively to showcasing innovative kitchenware and household appliances.
Boasting high-quality products, it also aims to collaborate closely with celebrities who would like to create their own household solutions. Teleshopping's latest offering is a premium line of pressure cookers designed by celebrity chef Eric Teo.
The range - developed and tested over 12 months by Chef Teo and his team - boasts a one-button locking system, uniquely designed lid and intuitive pressure-regulating controls, making it safe and easy to use.
Each pot is corrosion- and heat-resistant, and dishwasher-safe. Both the 3- and 6-litre-capacity cookers are ideal for preparing meals that are not only easy, but also flavourful and nutritious.
It does this in less than half the time taken by traditional methods, while locking in flavours and preserving vitamins and minerals, said Chef Teo, a culinary consultant whose previous job titles include executive chef at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
"We know that people want to prepare healthy meals but are pressed for time," he noted, adding that meals like braised pork knuckles and braised duck can be perfectly cooked in the pressure cookers.
The stainless-steel cookers are available as a complete set consisting of a 3- and 6-litre pressure pot, a glass lid, one-button pressure lid and steamer accessories.
Each set costs $988, but order before Nov 30 and get yours for $938. Each set also comes with a free book of 20 recipes curated by Chef Teo.
