Krispy Kreme to open Singapore store on October 12

SINGAPORE - The doughnut wait is nearly over: Krispy Kreme will open its first Singapore outlet on October 12, 2013.

The 1,200 square feet flagship store at Tangs will feature a "doughnut theatre", where diners will get to watch the doughnuts made fresh, right in front of their eyes. The ubiquitous red neon "Hot Now" sign will be turned on at Krispy Kreme during its opening hours.

As with other Krispy Kreme store openings, fans queuing for doughnuts on the October 12 opening day will get to win up to a year's supply of Krispy Kreme doughtnuts. Krispy Kreme will be giving away Golden, silver and bronze to the lucky winners.

Doughnut prices will start from $2.60 for each Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut or $23.40 for a box of a dozen.

"We know Krispy Kreme fans have waited long enough for the opening of this much-loved brand," says Andy Chaw, CEO of Star 360 Holdings. "And we can't wait to turn on the Hot Now lights at Tangs Orchard, our very first store in Singapore."

Krispy Kreme will open its flagship store on October 12, 2013 at Tangs Orchard, Basement floor, 310 Orchard Road, Singapore 238864, opening hours: 8am to 11pm, website: www.krispykreme.sg.
