Nando's first two-storey outlet opens at Junction 8

SINGAPORE - Nando's Singapore opened its 10th and first two-storey outlet at Junction 8 on Friday.

The new restaurant will serve up favourites such as the Peri Peri flame grilled chicken, and other Mozambican and Portuguese-themed dishes.

Nando's will offer desserts exclusive to its Junction 8 outlet as part of an ongoing promotion.

Diners can look forward to the Orange Bolo cake, a popular Brazilian dessert and the Rainbow Cake, a colourful layered cake with distinctive fruity flavours.

These desserts are available for dine-in from 2pm to 6pm.

Diners can enjoy Bottomless Hot Coffee, Hot Tea or Coca-Cola Beverage for an additional $2.50 when they order any dessert.

Ms June Koh, CEO of Nando's Singapore, said the Junction 8 restaurant took five months to build and renovate. A regular outlet takes around eight weeks.

She said the outlet had to undergo more changes than the other outlets as they had to hack away part of the flooring to create a two-storey high ceiling and a new staircase.

Ms Koh said that although each Nando's outlet looks almost the same, each restaurant has its own distinctive features.

The next Nando's outlet will be opened at Changi Airport's Terminal 2 in early May.
