SINGAPORE - Parkroyal on Kitchener Road has a new executive chef, Frederick Kho. And he's brought with him new items for its buffet line at Spice Brasserie.
Chef Kho's last posting was at the Golden Sands Resort by Shangri-la in Penang, and he has brought a Penang food spread with favourites such as char kway teow, assam laksa and Penang rojak.
This is available from Mondays to Thursdays for lunch ($34) and dinner ($38).
On Fridays, it's crab night. Crabs are cooked in 10 ways - such as chilli crabs, golden cheese crabs, ginger and scallion crabs - and you can try all of the dishes repeatedly for $58.
It is best to call for a table, especially when the crab buffet is on. Call 6428-3160 for reservations.
