May May is the latest food and beverage business to open in Tras Street, adding to the growing number of restaurants and bars there which offer cocktails and cuisines that range from Italian to Japanese.
The new 40-seat restaurant serves food accented with Asian flavours. Dishes here include fried cauliflower ($14) with chat masala, pear and tamarind; confit potatoes ($14) with bacon, spring onion, and dashi; maples and miso salmon ($26); and lobster rice noodles ($28) with lemongrass, kaffir lime and coconut broth.
Where: 65 Tras Street
Open: 6 to 11pm (Monday to Saturday), closed on Sunday. The restaurant plans to open for lunch by the end of the month
