MilkCow Singapore

This ice-cream parlour seats 16 and serves organic Korean soft-serve ice cream. Today is the last day to enjoy its limited-edition strawberry soft serve ($6.90), which is ice cream with honey, strawberries and sugar hearts.

There are 14 different ice creams on the menu. You could get the original Milky Way, plain soft-serve ice cream made of organic milk ($4.90); or Milky Peace, a soft-serve drizzled with pistachio syrup and topped with sunflower seeds and cashew clusters ($6.50).

Toppings such as handcrafted macarons ($2) and honeycomb ($1.50) are also available.

The Snack Culture Company

At The Snack Culture Company, which serves delicacies inspired by cuisines around the world, you can enjoy exotic creations such as Korean Beef Bulgogi Buns ($2.90 each) at its bakery cafe, which opens from 9am to 7pm on Monday to Saturday.

You can also have American Meatballs in Thai Green Curry ($8) for lunch on weekdays from 11am to 3pm.

On Friday and Saturday night, enjoy a nine-course, small-plate degustation dinner at $49++. Offerings include Cajun Seafood en Papillote, seafood baked in a paper parcel with Louisiana Cajun garlic butter.

Bring some of their cookies home too. They come in flavours such as Haebee Hiam ($14.90 for a 150g jar) and Lavender ($13.90 for a 130g jar).

Gyoza-Ya Ion

Gyoza-Ya has opened its second outlet at Ion Orchard, which seats 66.

The Mochi Mochi Ebi Gyoza ($5.80 for five pieces, left), made of chewy mochi skin with a filling made of prawns imported from Japan, is available exclusively at this outlet.

Other than the mochi gyoza, it has the same menu as the Robinsons Orchard outlet.

Russkiy Dome Cafe

This 28-seat cafe serves Russian, Central Asian and Soviet cuisine. Its kitchen is helmed by Chef Rinat Valiev, 28, from Uzbekistan. Pastry chef Anastasia Pilipets, 27, from Russia, works alongside him.

Enjoy dishes such as Shuba Salad, a multi-layered herring salad ($13.50); and Pork Julienne, pork and potato cubes baked in a cream cheese sauce ($17.90).

There are also 14 flavours of infused vodka. The best-selling ones are those with rose, beetroot and honey chilli. A 50ml shot costs $12 and five shots cost $45.
