Pioneer Generation to get 20 per cent off total bills at Tim Ho Wan

SINGAPORE - Members of the Pioneer Generation who dine at Tim Ho Wan will enjoy 20 per cent off their total bills from today until May 28. The offer is only available from Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays, from 2pm to 5pm, said Tim Ho Wan in a press release.

This promotion, held in celebration of the restaurant's first birthday, will be held at all four Tim Ho Wan restaurants in Singapore, and is valid for dine-in customers only.

To enjoy the promotion, the diner has to meeting the following criteria to qualify as a member of the Pioneer Generation:

- Born on or before Dec 31, 1949; aged 65 and above this year;

- Obtained citizenship on or before Dec 31, 1986.

The diner also has to pay the bill in person to enjoy the promotion, and will need to present his or her NRIC or driving licence before placing an order for the purpose of verification.

According to the restaurant's press statement, Tim Ho Wan has served over 800,000 customers in its first year of business and sold a record of one million barbecued pork buns within 8 months.

Tim Ho Wan also announced that franchised restaurants will be opening in 5 countries, namely the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia.

Diners can get a taste of Tim Ho Wan at these four locations in Singapore: Westgate Jurong East, Bedok Mall, Plaza Singapura and 450 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh.
