I remember discovering Ritter Sport chocolates in Germany years ago and how the number of flavours has grown since then.
The Joghurt ($3.45 for a 100g bar) one has a layer of yogurt-flavoured cream in the middle and I like the tanginess it adds to the chocolate.
Even better is Pfefferminz ($3.45 for a 100g bar), which does not hold back on the peppermint. It is strong and bracing - the way I like it.
Knusperkeks ($3.75 for a 100g bar) has an entire shortbread-like cookie embedded in it. It is a delightful take on a chocolate biscuit. The biscuit is a little salty too, which heightens the attraction for me.
Ritter Sport chocolates from German Market Place, 609 Bukit Timah Road, tel: 6466-4044, open: 10am to 7pm (weekday), 9am to 5.30pm (Saturday), closed on Sunday and public holiday
