Round-the-clock a la carte at Casuarina

IPOH - The newly-opened Casuarina Flavours Coffeehouse is offering a la carte dishes, served round the clock, for its guests.

It also offers buffet lunch and dinner, high tea and Sunday brunch.

The coffeehouse serves a combination of eastern and western dishes namely oxtail soup, petai fried rice, bakso, French onion soup, grilled black chicken leg, spaghetti with meatballs and pan-fried salmon.

For the western menu, the spaghetti with meatballs is topped with tomato concasse and parmesan cheese.

The pan-fried salmon is served with fried potatoes, sauteed salad and spicy honey sauce, while the grilled chicken leg goes well with turmeric potato, buttered Romaine and mushroom ragout.

The eastern Indonesian noodle soup called bakso is cooked with yellow noodles, meatballs, bean curd and spring onion.

The coffeehouse also has snacks like prawn fritters (cucur udang), fried chicken wings, roti jala with curry chicken and rojak mamak.

Desserts are ais kacang, cendol, caramelised sweet banana with ice cream. The coffeehouse is located in Casuarina Hotel in Meru Raya here.
