Song Kee Fishball Noodles named Singapore Hawker Master

SINGAPORE- Song Kee Fishball Noodles was named a Singapore Hawker Master in the Fishball Noodle (soup & dry) category on Friday night.

This was part of a joint annual search by The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao to find the best hawkers in various categories.

The awards is in its fourth year and this year's categories are Mee Rebus, Chinese Rojak, Nasi Briyani, Fishball Noodle (Soup & Dry), Or Luak (Fried Oyster Omelette) and Cheng Tng.

The search for this year's Singapore Hawker Masters kicked off in August, with over 800 nominations received from the public. In October, a panel of eight judges visited the finalists' stalls to decide who would be named a Singapore Hawker Master.

The winners of Singapore Hawker Masters 2013 are as follows:

Category A - Mee Rebus
