Chef Emmanuel Stroobant has also delicately crafted the Valentine's Dinner menu, aptly named "La Vie en Rose" which holds court with two seatings - a five-course meal from 5.30pm to 8pm at S$138++ per person, and an eight-course meal from 9pm to closing at S$158++ per person. A highlight from the menu, which most certainly captures the spirit of Valentine's Day and is available for both lunch and dinner, is the Risotto de Tomate Fumee. The dish is a smoked tomato nano risotto with red snapper tempura, ume-beet dressing, ikura and pomegranate reduction - a sure way to delight the ladies with its coquettish hue of pink and sprinkling of petals. Pain Perdu, only available at dinner, is an exquisite match of sweet and savoury with its pairing of farmed strawberries on top of a brioche French toast and grilled foie gras with red beetroot essence, raspberry vinegar and cream fraiche.
