Arsenal legend Ray Parlour in town for SCC International Soccer Sixes

SINGAPORE - Arsenal legend Ray Parlour is in Singapore to play at the Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) International Football Sixes at the Padang this weekend.

He will play for the CLA Masters team alongside other sporting luminaries PJ Roberts, Tim Bredbury, Scott Star, Richard Lenton, Alistair Rosebrough and Johnny Wilkinson. The team's manager is former Manchester United player Paul Parker.

33 teams from across Southeast Asia will compete in the tournament's two other categories, Youth and Open.

A special clinic will be conducted by coaches from the SCC Soccer Academy on Friday afternoon for all the youth teams involved.

The tournament will start from 9am on May 17 and 18, with Scottish radio presenter Alan Brazil attending as a special guest. Admission is free and open to the public.
