Asean Para Games: Singapore bags golds in swimming, table tennis

Singapore has won its first table tennis gold medal of the 8th Asean Para Games on Saturday, Dec 5.

The Straits Times reported that national table tennis player Jason Chee guided the host to beat Thailand 3-1 in the men's team (T1-2) event at the OCBC Arena Hall 1.

Earlier today, swimmer Benson Tan won golds in both the 100m freestyle S14 and the 200m free S14.

Tan's team-mate Han Liang Chou also took home his second gold for his win in the 50m breaststroke SB14, breaking a Games record time of 35.23sec, The Straits Times reported.

Han had won a gold medal in the 100m breaststroke SB14 on Friday.
