(Wayne Rooney 41, Steven Gerrard 88)
England have qualified for the World Cup. Hurrah!
Now are they going to win it? Erm...no! Unlike previous tournaments, like 2006 when Sven-Goran Eriksson's men were seeded second behind only Brazil, England will not fly to South America burdened by expectation.
They are not favourites, they are not second favourites, they are not contenders. They are barely even dark horses and everyone knows it.
Even Roy Hodgson himself compared to England's position to someone with a lottery ticket.
A big win is certainly possible, but only in the way that being struck by lightning twice on the same day is possible.
Okay, so it's not that bad. But make no mistake, expectations are low.
World Cups are strange creatures and they are not always won by the best nation.
