Double joy as S'pore paddlers strike gold

Host Singapore became the first nation to win a gold medal at the 28th SEA Games yesterday.

The bragging rights came courtesy of Zhou Yihan and Lin Ye's 4-3 victory over fancied teammates Feng Tianwei and Yu Mengyu in the table tennis women's doubles final.

Gao Ning and Li Hu later made it two golds in the men's doubles final.
