He called time on his professional career last November, but former national striker Aleksandar Duric still enjoys scoring goals.
Yesterday morning at the Jalan Besar Stadium, the three-time S.League Player of the Year hit the target with some special teammates, when he conducted a football clinic for close to 60 young beneficiaries from the Pertapis Children's Home and Beyond Social Services (below).
The clinic is part of life insurers Great Eastern's SG50 Wishes campaign, and was the first of two Duric will hold for under-privileged children.
The second will be held during the June school holidays.
Duric, 44, told The New Paper: "I really enjoyed every moment out on the pitch with the boys.
"They also need attention not only from me, but from all of us.
"Spending time with them on the pitch, having some laughs, scoring goals and celebrating together after that... That is the kind of thing money can't buy.
"I'm very thankful Great Eastern helped me fulfil my SG50 wish."
