Ex-United striker Cole to inspire young Lions for SEA Games

Into its fifth year of a partnership, furniture and electronic goods retailer Courts is looking forward to aiding the Courts Young Lions' cause at June's South-east Asia (SEA) Games.

"This is obviously a key time leading up to the SEA Games... and we're happy to be involved and to support it," said Courts' chief executive, Terry O'Connor, speaking on the sidelines of the team's launch ahead of the 2015 S.League season.

He revealed that next month, former Manchester United forward Andrew Cole will come to Singapore, with the Young Lions having an opportunity to meet with him.

"We're looking to bring in current and previous legends who can inspire the players, motivate them in advance of the SEA games and play our part as much as we can," added O'Connor.

Cole is the first of a host of players who will make their way to Singapore as part of Courts' SG50 plan, but O'Connor declined to reveal more names.
