Harry puts crown jewels on the line at Twickenham

LONDON - Prince Harry got more than he bargained for on the rugby field when he became the object of an uncomfortable-looking tackle from former England star Jason Robinson on Thursday.

Harry, 29, was taking part in a coaching session for youngsters at Twickenham when Robinson, a member of England's 2003 World Cup-winning team, grabbed the prince around the groin.

The fourth in line to the throne appeared unbowed though, and threw himself into a training session with schoolgirls and schoolboys.

Earlier, Robinson threw down the gauntlet to the prince, telling him: "I'll be looking to see what you've got." But Harry replied: "I think I'm a bit past it already." Harry showed off his passing, kicking and tackling skills on the famous turf, which is home to the England national side.

Robinson, 39, said: "It's just fantastic to see him out here with the kids.

"He's dripping with sweat. He's put everything into this, because he is passionate about the game." Robinson, a fleet-footed winger in his time, also gave the prince a pair of his boots.

He told him: "I can't guarantee they'll get you into the England team, but you'll be quick." As patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU), Harry is promoting a scheme to increase the amount of rugby played in state-run secondary schools and to encourage new players to join local clubs.

England and Wales will host the 2015 World Cup.
