Here's a last minute tip for a different kind of Halloween. How about something healthy to try while you trick or treat?
If you're up to the challenge, head down to Bikram Yoga Katong for a special Halloween class tonight at 6pm. Attend the 42 degree Celsius yoga class in full Halloween gear and stand a chance to win a free one-month unlimited pass if you're selected as the best dressed.
The special session is part of the studio's upcoming first anniversary celebrations on Nov 2, where studio owners Maria Lourdes Chan and Jezrael Heng will be hosting an open house that day for members and friends to enjoy one class for free.
Other celebratory goodies include 20 per cent off packages bought on the anniversary day itself and a chance to win a trip for two to any Australian city.
But if you don't feel like doing a hot type of yoga just yet, this Saturday sees a mass hip hop yoga event at Orchard Road.
Yoga Beat by lululemon athletica will feature 1,000 participants who can stretch and pose to hip hop beats and live music.
The event will start at 7pm followed by a street party with local hip hop maestros DJ KoFlow and singer Kevin Lester. It's scheduled to end at 11pm where the roads will reopen as well.
This event is part of the second monthly Pedestrian Night which happens every first Saturday of the month.
