Lam Chih Bing carried on the good work from where he left off last Sunday with a brilliant two-under 69 to lead the Laguna National AutoInc/SPGA Invitational at Laguna National's World Classic yesterday.
Lam (above), who shot a 66 last Sunday to finish third in an Asian Development Tour event in Johor, is two shots ahead of two seasoned pros - Australian Unho Park and Singapore No. 2 Quincy Quek - in the 49-player field.
The fourth three-day event of the year staged by the Singapore Professional Golfers' Association is set for an interesting duel in the next two days as Australian Scott Barr, an Asian and European Tour veteran, and national representative Lam Zhiqun are a further shot behind on 72.
